Looking out on your home landscape, you might sigh and think, “How am I going to find the time to transform this whole space into the gardening oasis of my dreams?” Here’s our secret for getting it all done: Take one bite at a time. In other words, pick just one portion of your landscape and complete it in a weekend! Then move on to the next. Space by space, your ho-hum landscape will transform into your own personal oasis. Spruce up your mailbox garden, plant some lively patio pots, or brighten your fence line. You can do any of these projects in under two days. Need some inspiration? Project 1: A Magnificent Mailbox Garden

Your postal personnel will appreciate the beauty you add to your streetside mailbox. Dressing up that dull post in the ground with season-long color is as easy as 1-2-3: An Encore® Azalea, complemented by a colorful evergreen shrub, and an ornamental grass. Plant an Autumn Bonfire® with intensely red semi-double blooms as a focal point in your mailbox garden. Its dwarf growth habit ensures your mailbox will remain easily visible.
